Poster: A snowHead

Hi!
Last week some friends kindly invited me to join them on their trip to Copper Mountain. I'm heading out on the 4th of April for a week. I booked my flights for £305 return - bargain!
Does anyone know of any good websites where you can get slightly cheaper lift passes? I can't seem to find any that aren't tied in with lodgings. I'm sure I found one the other day but can't find it now.
Cheers,
Abi

That's un-real! Good job.
Lift pass: have you checked the copper website? I seem to recall they do have multi-day passes available when I was planning my trip...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi, yes, it works out at $318.
My friends are paying about £100 per head for equipment rental and lift passes would you believe. But it all seems tied in with accomodation I think. Their in America in Houston at the moment and out of contact for a few days.

At that time of year, you do get some real bargains at the mountain. So why not get the lodging as well if the price is good?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I'm staying with my friends so don't need to look at lodging at all.
I just don't know how my friends managed it as I'm pretty sure the lodging wasn't done with the lift passes, but then I think getting ski hire has swung it for them.
I'm waiting on a chap ringing me back shortly so fingers crossed.

snowaddict, I would normally use/recommend ski independence but I see they will not sell without accommodation.
Where this happens it is usually resort policy - as with the RCR Canadian resorts, so I think you wll have difficulty,

Ah, OK. Thanks for that. Think I'll just go online and book the resort ones just now.

Try www.themountainsusa.com and look at the international pricing - we're in Breckenridge for 2 weeks and got 12 day lift passes through them for $249 - that's well under half the price being asked for at the ticket windows. They email you an attachment which you print out & hand in at the ticket window in resort & they give you the pass. All worked well for us doing that.
