Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Rossignol Scratch BC - Yay or Nay...?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Morning all, quick question for all you clever ski bods out there. I usually ski on Movement Sparks, and I'd quite like to add a longer fatter beefier ski into the equation for those days when I am more off piste than on.

My requirements:

Good float for powder
Quite stiff so that it can power through crud
Not impossible to ski/carve on piste and on icy conditions
Good fun

Price is also a massive consideration because I am quite skint at the moment...

I have the opportunity to buy some Rossignol Scratch BC 2006/2007 178 skis in mint condition at a good price with look P12 bindings. Has anyone skied on these skis? Any good? Will they do want I want?

Thanks in advance...

hi there snowmonkey, skiied the 06/07 scratches, pretty nice ski for a rossi! for a ski with a 98mm waist i found them nimble and good in all conditions, if you could get a nice deal on them then id seriously consider it, but have you thought of the gladiators? been riding them this season and theyre sweet!

Snowmonkey, not bad, how much do you weigh? If 170 lbs or over you might want longer ones.
