Will be staying in Arc 2000 at Easter, but friends can only get accomodation in 1800, which is other side of mountain. They will have car, but how long does it take to drive between the two?
Thanks

footsoldier, welcome. No idea how long, but there is a free shuttle bus between the different Arcs so it can't be that far.

Distance 1800 - 2000 is between 10 - 12km by road, so depending on conditions...
Free Buses run til midnight if you are thinking of evenings together, but you will need at change at 1600.
During slope opening times, you can get from 2000 / 1950 to 1800 in about 15 mins on skis/boards, including up-lift time. Probably a bit longer the other way.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

bus from 1950 to 1800 via 1600 took about 40 minutes in February - so add a bit for going on to 2000 would be a rough guesstimate!
Skiing is the quickest!!

It took us about 20mins to drive from 1800-1950 last month, add another 5 to get to 2000. We were in the same postion we were staying in 1800 friends were in 1950. We went over a couple of times when road was clear and route was well signed.
