Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Where does Buzz Aldrin ski?

Yes, where does the second man to walk on the moon go skiing?

It turns out that Buzz Aldrin only took up skiing at 50 (though he waited until 39 to take up lunar walking) and is now 75. To find out where he skis in the US and Europe read Ted Heck (crazy name, crazy guy), Europe contributor to OnTheSnow.com.

Ted Heck seems to have a nice lifestyle - judging from his global ski travels, which are gushingly reported in his regular column. This week he's been roughing it in Deer Valley, Utah. "The sun shone on Deer Valley’s legendary grooming. The posh resort can handle more than 8,000 visitors on a peak day during the winter, but we had to cope with only a tenth of that number."

It must be shockingly lonely out there. Do you think we should help him out?

For a man who's walked on the moon I would've thought Tignes and Les Menuires were his preferred choices, even, perhaps, La Mongie!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Maybe that's where they faked the moon landing.

Buzz's successors may be able to ski on Mars, if these Martian clouds thicken up.
