 Poster: A snowHead

Hi!
Looking for a good resort close to Geneva from 15th of March, for one week more or less. We will fly in to Geneva.
We are intermediate skiers, one intermediate snowboarder. Looking for a place not too far from Geneva, not too expensive, and with lots of slopes and snow 
Has anyone some suggestions for us? We have heard of Chamonix, Verbier and Flaine...but none of us have been any of these places.
Grateful for advice, thanks!!!

in that case, I think Chamonix would be really good - fantastic Alpine scenery, very steep and craggy and dramatic, and lots of slopes, though not all in the same place - you'd need to have a car to make the most of Chamonix for a week. It's a fairly busy time, so no time to lose to book something - most accommodation is Saturday/ Saturday.

nordic, Verbier can be costly.... you'll struggle to get accomodation at short notice too, so I'd take it off the list..

nordic, Morzine is more affordable and gives you the fantastic Portes du Soleil circuit to play with

nordic, Plenty of snow at the moment. Quite honestly I don't think that any one place is more/less expensive than any other
