Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just back from Tignes.

Took our own skis but thought I'd save some Snowheads some £££££ by telling you all about a 2 for 1 ski hire offer we spotted.

A new outfit - Ski Republic - has opened across the big French resorts and is offering:

Do you know if this is only if you book online, or do you get the two for one in the resort too? About to head off to Val D'isere at the end of the week and they have a shop there, anything to increase the beer voucher fund.

Thats a nice offer, but is it across all the major french resorts?, can't spot La Ros anywhere.

Yes, the offer also applies in the resorts Very Happy . The shops in Tignes le Lac & Tignes Val Claret have big posters in the window advertising the 2 for 1.

Sat with loads of people on lifts who had Ski Republic skis (the stickers were a bit of a give away) and the kit does look brand new, as advertised.

I haven't checked but assume that if La Ros isn't listed on the website then they mustn't have a shop there Sad
