Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Problem- need some leashes for my telemark skis
Have spent many hours contemplating leashes on Google
Today have just spent several hours trying to sort out some telemark leashes.
Breamar mountain sports- at least £20 including postage
Telemark Pyrenees- £incalculable due to exchange rates and postage
Solution- bought some stainless steel trigger snap links from a ships chandlers on ebay (about a tenner) and will make up the rest with some accessory cord from under the stairs.
But- on reflection I earn- a lot of money- why was I wasting hours and hours doing this- for the time I spent looking for them I could have earned enough to buy dozens if not hundreds of the bloody things- or a ski holiday?
Next problem- Alpaca hats.................should I knit my own- with wool from my own goats (Megamum.....)

PS I have lots and lots of duct tape but don't think that a hat made out of this would be PC

Go for the coat seems all tele skiers have plenty of duct tape as patches/fashion accessories. I first used rope and large swivels for leashes worked great cost pennies.
