Poster: A snowHead
|
I got back from my skiing holiday last week and stupidly left my skis in the garage for a couple of days. When I looked at them last nite there was some rust on the edges. Anyone know what I need to do?

rub them down gently with a gummy stone, and if you're done for the season, put a little wd40 on the edges (but only on the edges)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Great excuse to go skiing again to ski off the rust, or listen to the fox.

I don't remember my old skis rusting like my new ones do. (The old ones date back to the early 90's )
Faulty memory or change in edge metal?

Or rub them with Zardoz NotWax, it will do the same job and wont matter if you get it on the base.

Nick L, nope, just leave them in the bag - together of course (cheers skimottaret, I'll change that) - the way I always did.
