Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi Folks - has anyone got any info on the Val D'Allos in the Southern Alps, looking for decent(ish) restaurants that take kids, how good are the piste runs, how easy is it to get around the resort - you know the usual, off in 12 days !
Thanks .............

Im more familiar with La Foux. Very child Friendly. As far as I could make out all the restaurants took kids - dont think its an issue as it markets itself as a family resort. Would recommend - La Bretagne, Le Petit Montangnarde and L'Igloo.

Plenty of runs - mostly red. The area between La Foux and Pra Loup is best. Nice runs and small crowds, but you have to be able to ski red to get back to the village. There's plenty to keep you going in La Foux - approx 85km. You can ski accross to Pra Loup if conditions (incl wind allow)Same amount of piste again. There's a shuttle bus down to Le Seignus. Where there are fewer runs but they tend to be longer. ALso there's plenty of off piste.

Great resort. Goining back in a week for the 4th time

Enjoy
