During the last week seven teams of alpine athletes have been running around the Chamonix valley doing some absolutely ridiculous things on skis, boards, ice climbs, BASE, wingsuit, rock routes etc to produce a 5 minute film to be judged for some pretty healthy prize money.
Screenings and prize giving were last night in the centre of Cham so the individual films should be going online fairly soon.
Keep an eye on the website because some of the stuff these guys (and girls) got up to in just 5 days is pretty impressive.

Frosty the Snowman, They are really cool guys but interestingly they seem unable to concentrate on things unless they are absolutely shi**ing themselves. When they're in the shop to have their boots worked on they're really vague and getting decent answers out of them can be a struggle. There's more winsguit madness from the two in this team here;
I've only watched 2 films from the contest, the winner and Team Golgoht but I love how they have both tried to add a theme into the film, rather than it "just" being amazing stunts....
..and I never knew you could loop a parapente, simply awesome!
