Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

good question, i am stumped.... There is one in Le Laitelet which is the hilly bit of mottaret, le chatelet has a free public car park but it isnt covered...

I think but could be wrong but i think that the underground is reserved for residents of the Le Hameau complex

you dont really need a car to get around in mottaret, is there a strong reason to need a covered car park?

I parked in an undercover car park at the top of the hill in Mottaret, didn't book just got a ticket on entry. It wasn't incredibly expensive but I cannot really remmember as the day before leaving I saw the barriers were up, so I drove out and got a new ticket and only paid for a day Smile . It was quite useful as there was a lot of snow that week. I think there is an undercover in meribel as well. If the weather is OK I would park outside, but if there was an undercover nearby I would put it in there the day before going home if it forecasts snow to avoid a 6am digging job.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I wouldnt be driving around while I'm there but i'd also rather not do the digging, unfreezing task etc...

Only parked outside in the mountains once, car was frozen, wheels embedded into the lying snow, had to be dug out of the rut. So I normally look for covered parking.

Thanks for the info guys.

BMF_Skier, fair dues, i guess i was just making the point that you wont need the car in resort. but who needs to do digging eh...
