Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can anyone out there recommend a shop in Verbier for hiring ski touring kit? Names & contact details would be great!

Thanks

John Crawford, Mountain Air sure sell touring kit - not sure if they hire it.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Can't remember the name of the shop but the one by the roundabout at the Savoleyres lift station hired us some harnesses last year and they had a load of other touring stuff for hire as well. Parlor may know the name or somewhere else

Beside the Savoleyres lift station (can't remember name). Rented out some decent kit to some clients last week...

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Number 1, right next to the Medran, Kling or Squid will sort you out no problem. Loads of Missions with touring rigs on in this year's quiver.

http://www.evasion-sports.com/verbier/ was the one I was thinking of (the benefits of Google!), but if No 1 do it they are central and a good shop. Come to think of it Ski Service (on Rue de Medran, just down from the Fer a Cheval) also hire out touring kit, and they've always been helpful in the past - in fact they cut me up some skins for my new Gotamas just last weekend. Just need to lose three stone now and ski touring awaits!
