Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,

Have an offer on what looks like a very nice Scott 'Angel' snowboard, for the better half. was looking online but cannot find any info on the board?. Would anyone know anything about these or where i could get some information?

Scott stopped making Snowboards last year to concentrate on their other core products. Scott Snowboards were made by Elan with very good end results on both quality and performance. The Angel model is a ladies specific Freestyle board with full wood core and sidewall construction and came in three sizes - 141, 146 & 151. Tech spec for the 146 = Effective Edge 1110mm, Tip Width 285mm, Waist Width 238mm, Tail Width 280mm. Stance off set 15mm, Max stance 540mm, Min stance 460mm. Max rider weight 65kgs.
All in all a very good board!

The retail price for the Angel was £170 (approx €230). Although it is an excellent board you have to remember two things. Firstly the board is old stock (2006/07 model) and secondly the manufacture has stopped making snowboards. So i would say that it is not worth €200.
