Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Nice hotel needed within 1 hour drive of Geneva - HELP!!!!!!!!!

HELP!!!!!

Myself and my good friend would like to take our respective girlfriends away to Samoens, Les Gets, Les Contamines or a similar resort with good skiing, decent apres ski, and within about 1 hours drive of Geneva. Ideally I'd love somewhere town centre based, 3* b&b hotel accom, close to lift etc.... Asking for a lot????

Maybe but it's the 1st time I've done this. The problem appears to be that I only wnat 3 night accomadation from Thursday 28th Feb through to Sunday 2nd March (3 nights).

Can anyone help with constructive suggestions, or confirm they have available suitable accomadation.

Smithy1972, http://www.hotelmontchery.com/ very close to lifts and in the hub of Les Gets village. My sister stays here while we self cater elsewhere and speaks highly of it. They only do B&B and they have done weekend breaks/short stays in the past but will depend on how they feel! Unfortunately that will be the tail end of the French hols - but try them & see.

http://www.hotel-nagano.com/ is another 3 * just along from the Mont Chery, always looks inviting and very well situated. If we ever get to go minus the kids would try here.

Smithy1972, hotel slalom in les houches, 50m from gondola they do short breaks and are very helpful at sorting things out re ski passes etc
