I was thinking about what the oldest piece of boarding kit I would still use was and was surprised it was my board.
What are everyone else's oldest pieces of kit (they still actively use on the mountain)? Oh and newest for interest.
Oldest - Donek 160 Incline snowboard (2000)
Newest - Dakine Bronco gloves (2008)
I don't want to hear about pants and socks

Oldest: My Duck: 1999
Newest: HS Empire 164: This season.
Most of my stuff is 1-2 years old cos I had a massive clearout of junk. The biggest result was selling some crappy old bindings for £40 when I should have paid them for taking them.

I traded my old board in so my oldest kit is my board & bindings 2005
I buy new clothing every year, I just can't help myself - I now have 3 jackets, 4 pants, 2 gloves, 2 helmets

rayscoops, I had to leave most of it behind last trip to due horrendous weight restrictions from Neilson. I do like to confuse my posse when they look for yesterdays outfit

DebbiDoesSnow, for the price of two jackets, three pairs of trousers, one pair of gloves and a helmet you could have paid for an extra fortnight's boarding.

You know it makes sense.

Lizzard, not at your company prices

kiwi1, just saw your sig - now I understand. I suppose I didn't title the thread 'oldest/newest boarding kit'
Don't stray into the boarding section for too long or you might not be kept up to date on the latest rules about boots in hand luggage

Oldest - I still occasionally wear my Buffalo Big Face Shirt under my boarding jacket on really nasty days. That was bought for general mountaineering back in 1993 (give or take a year)
Newest - my new board: Ride Society 157 (2008)
