About this time of year when I begin to count the weeks until my ski trip I begin to get really obsessed about all things snow related and then start dreaming of the stuff!
My weirdest snow dream was standing in the ski hire shop telling the guy behind the counter that since my last trip I'd had a below knee amputation of my right leg. I showed him my metal pole/plastic foot prothesis and asked him if he could put some stuffing in my boot to stop it falling off!!!!
How bizarre is that?! (i later looked this up in a dream book and the explanation was very significant at the time!!)
Any one got anything equally strange or am i a freak?

I had an awesome dream, where the piste was made out of a very flat wide stretch of water, making turns was like in deep powder, but if you slowed down you just sunk.
I miraculously developed into a brilliant skier, until i came across three trees in the middle of the piste, an crashed, with my head under water.. and then woke up!
Shame - cos it was the best dream iv ever had!

I'm one of those poor souls who very very rarely remembers a dream. It seems we all dream - but not all get to enjoy them again in waking hours.

I always dream that there's no snow, there's a freak hot spell and so we're surrounded by green hills and have to find other things to do. I've had this dream this year and I'm not even going away - just as well really as I smashed up my shoulder coming off my horse yesterday.

One of the kids dreamt last night that he's skied down the pistes in Serre Chevalier, and ended up in the Amazon jungle.

I used to have a recurring nightmare that I was ski-ing and was totally out of control. Eventually I manage to stop, panicked an totally out of breath. Eventually I persuade myself that if I start slowly and keep in control then it will be OK, so I start off again and am immediately totally out of control again. I think this was related to my vertigo, and have had it rarely since going to hypnotherapy. thank goodness because i was getting about 4 times a week about 30 years ago!
