Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski School Soll - Skischule Knolln or Skischule Soell

Hi,

Has anyone experience of using Skischule Knolln or Skischule Soell in Soll?

Interested to hear personal opinions. I have a 3 and 8 year old I would like to put into ski school. 3 year old has never skied before but the 8 year has a few years under his belt.

I have been to Soll twice and used Skischule Soell both times. IMO Soll has one of the best ski schools to be found in Europe. Unfortunatley, I am not sure about the children's ski school. Although a few of the lads acted about 5 (are in fact closer to 30). If you plan to go to ski school yourself I would recommend Harry - super instructor.

Had lessons in Soll a couple of years ago (not sure which school but he had a purple jacket on). I have skiied for quite a while but went into lessons as all the people I went with were beginners.

Their instructor was excellent and my instructor, even though all the other people in the group had fewer weeks on snow than I, managed to focus on individual needs and improved my skiing no end. I was very impressed Very Happy

In the end I made contact with Dave's Sport shop in Soll whom were very very helpfull. Organised ski hire for all the family and ski school at Skischule Knolln.

My only problem now is that the 3 year old thinks he's Bode Miller after watching too much TV Shocked
