When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Schladming World Cup Slalom results

Mario Matt (Eurosport)
Austrian Mario Matt won the World Cup Slalom in Schladming yesterday, to give Austria their 700th victory since the competition was launched in 1967. His time was 1:42.84. Jean-Baptiste Grange (France) was 2nd, with a time of 1:43.48. Manfredd Moelgg (Italy) was 3rd, in 1:43.49. Matt also won the race in 2000. It is his second victory of the season – he won the opening slalom of the year in Adelboden....The men's World Cup moves to France at the weekend for a slalom and a downhill in Chamonix.
