There seems to be certain inevitability about some of these tragedies - almost as though death is only thing that will stop them following their passion.  Icouldn't contemplate doing such stunts - I'm far too cowardly - but that's probably my in built circuitry doing it's job of keeping me alive for as long as possible.

Thats really sad, but at least he died doing what he loved.
Although no-one really wants to die, I think thats a fairly honourable way to die.
