Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

kiddie friendly late deals

Hi

Can anyone advise as to the best way to approach a late season European ski deal that is kiddie friendly. We have a 20 month old, who is obviously too young to ski, but with a combination of half day skiing for us and good childcare facilities, then maybe it can be done? Any advice on resorts, travel companies, general tips would be gratefully received. Oh and we can't break the bank in doing so either.

It's a tall order I know!

cheers

Not been with any of them, but have heard good reports about childcare.

Just came back today from Fiss in Austria (see www.serfaus-fiss-ladis.co.uk) which is a great ski area - 185km of skiing, mostly reds, not sure about actual childcare situation but most friendly child resort I've seen.

Great skiing, only an hour from Innsbruck (Easyjet), very sensible prices by Alps standards, choice of 3 resorts to ski, FANTASTIC 'Nightflow' on a Tuesday in Fiss (Weds in Serfaus, not as good), 2 mile long floodlit piste open until 11o'clock, its empty and perfectly groomed!
As a bonus very few Brits about - mostly Germans & Dutch although English is widely spoken of course. We stayed in a self catering apartment called Riezlers Hof, very well located. We hired a car to get to the resort, not many transfers from the airport to Fiss, maybe contact the Tourist Information in the resort?

Hopefully get chance to do a full report on the place sometime this week

Yes I did enjoy my holiday........... Very Happy

Also look at Ski Beat - many of their Chalets have creches with UK qualified nannies

Used them a few times in La Tania - fairly small and quiet resort but access to all of 3V
THey now also have chalets in Peisey with access to Les Arcs - not stayed but sure is same set up
