Could people suggest any companies which are good for the single person to go skiing??

It rather depends what you are looking for.
If you just want a group to ski with, then any of the ones who offer several days of guiding around the resort will be a decent choice, provided of course you can find accommodation without too high a single supplement.

if you want to have high quality tuition combined with a package holiday with many non-couples/keen skiers, try Inspired to Ski, or or one of the similar specialist companies.
