Poster: A snowHead

I always end up getting fuel when I'm on the peage and its generally a good 8 euros or so per tank more expensive than hypermarkets.
If I coast off the ferry on fumes where will be the easiest and cheapest place to fuel up?
That said with the low euro/sterling exchange rate perhaps the savings made in the past won't be that great?

The cheapest I've seen was the truck stop on the road to east enders booze shop. Diesel was around 1.23per L there in November.

kiwi1, I take it they have seperate pumps for cars
BTW don't do what I did once and leave the autoroute once on the toll section following a sign to a petrol station. It turned out to be 10km from the junction on the n road back towards Calais.

The Intermarché usually has the cheapest around. We usually find it with our sat nav. It is automatic payment though. A Uk Nationwide card works, but I'm not sure about others. 1.19 last weekend.
