All this snow and down the road in courchevel the season is over. I know they have to plan the resorts with staff etc, it can't go on forever, but when you look at the webcams and see the snow you just wish the season carried on.

just looking at last season's photos cheers me up with all the rain and wind in England. Winter cannot come fast enough

bummer, 28C on the shores of Lake Geneva today where I had lunch with a fabulously snowy Mont Blanc massif as the backdrop. I would say it has snowed a bit at altitude.

davidof, 28C. Not a repeat of two years ago I hope when the warm weather meant no ground freezing, so when it dit snow it just melted. It however, I must remind myself only the first week of Sept!

They've had a little snow today in Val Thorens, no doubt it won't last long. Is a sign that it's not long until the start of the season though, yay!
