Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Really don't get you nut munchers!!!

You are on hoiliday!! I ski hard all morning. Have a great lunch in a quality restaurant if I can and ski hard all afternoon. For god's sake it's only an hour. I will be eating a top class meal while you squirrells eat a processed nut bar on a chair lift. Nutters!!!!!

Couldn't agree more. Problem is though if I have a big lunch, I feel so, umm, lardy, and can't get going again for the afternoon. Lots of little sugar/espresso/nut munching breaks suit me better.

johnboy, Sounds good mate, but I am only there for three days, that's the challenge. I can sit and eat at a restaurant for an hour anywhere any time, but ski...?

In the end, I suspect I'll fall in with the others in my group, most of which are there for longer than me, so will tempt me into the restaurants for a good meal and a beer Crying or Very sad Confused Smile Very Happy

I could probably manage the day without much food or drink but I do find that as I get older I actually need a bit of time for rest & recovery. Time was when I got all the rest I needed on the lifts but that is no longer sufficient so an hour's stop at about 1.30 is good and where better to rest than in a restaurant.
Off thread but has anyone else noticed that as you reach certain age milestones the lift companies raise the bar as far as discounts go?
