Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Wengen Ski Schools

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Going to Wengen Jan 19th. I read that there is only one ski school for children in Wengen...is that the case?

Is it good? As well as 7 and 5 yr olds I also have a 3.5 yr old. Is that too young for ski school?

Thank you.....

There are two Ski Schools in Wengen that I know of.
The big one is:
The Swiss Ski School
This is the smaller one:
Privat Ski School

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I work for the Swiss Ski School in Wengen (most of the time delegated to club med, who follow slightly different procedures, and I am to arrive about when your week ends, so you won't see me). They do class lessons as well as private tuition. Privat only does private tuition.

I recommend you'll send the children to the class lessons, as the children will vary quite a bit in how fast they'll learn (from personal experience) Normally (your week may be a very quiet one) we'll take the 3.5 year old as well, but see it as contact with snow/entertainment only. Don't expect the children to go in the same class (again, their learning pace will vary a bit) Wink
Occationally very young children get quite far (I had a 4 year old on the steep nursery in the village after 1 and a half weeks) but this is very very dependend on their physical strength and motivation (play, ski, don't wanna, daddy on the same slope - outskieed by his son and proud of it... you name it).

If you need more info, feel free to Private message me.
