Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski bus from SJA to Ardent, Lindarets, morzine or Les Gets lifts?

Hi All,

Will be out in SJA from 01/03/08 and whilst we have a car its not big enough for the entire party as some are flying out.

Will be checking out the local Terche slopes on the first day but after that will likely want to go to the more familiar PDS slopes (skiied PDS for 7 years now).

Can anyone tell me if there is a direct bus to the Ardent or Lindarets lifts or will we need to bus to Morzine then swap bus to the lifts?

Oh and read the vallee d'aulps bus is meant to be 1 euro a trip but last year I used it a few times to get to Morzine and to Ardent lifts (from Les gets) and never got asked for money.

Saint Jean D'aulps. Seen it abbreviated to SJA on here a few times so thought I'd save some typing.

I though les gets, morzine and lindarets/ardent lifts would make it obvious though.

jayc, looks like it is a bus to Morzine and then 'Liaison Navette' from there to Ardent. We always have a car there so not used the bus very much. Link here to Balad d'Aulps:
