Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anybody got any experience of this village ? looking at a chalet here and was wondering about nearest ski hire etc

Check these guys for ski hire - basically they come to you. Based in Montorlin just down the road. Saves all the hassle.

Passed over it many times on the Vanoise, those that know it and have posted here about it rave that it is great for access to les Arcs and the clothes line, when the fecking thing works Mad Laughing

kwakazx6r, We've stayed with www.whiteplanet.co.uk several times, fantastic hosts and superb food. close to the yoghurt pots lift in peisey. £350 for any available week until the end of season.

Am told there are no buses running. There would be 4 of use so thinking of getting a taxi across 1 day. We have saved about 100 euro on Paradski passes and we get 1 day free in La Plagne so long then as the taxi is less than 100 euro for the day am happy to go across. Will post when I get back.

kwakazx6r, & forgot to say - if you fancy a nice meal out - try L'Ancolie in Peisey Nancroix. You'll have to book though as it gets busy.
