Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Boot help please

Hi gang. Got a set of X wave (9 i think) boots with superfeet green insole on a set of rossi 100 bindings on mahoosive wink 191 bandits. Had them about two years. Anyway, i'm a bit knockneed, when my knees are together, my skis are a couple of inches apart. I run on the inner edges of the skis. I've set the canting as far as it will go but the skis are still slightly on edge. What's the next step in getting them flat?

jazzy, go & see our own CEM & his alignment specialist colleague Andi McCann. You'll most likely end up with alignment shims between the boot's internal ramp & the liner. Works a treat. http://solutions4feet.com

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

which way have you canted them - inwards or outwards?

I ask this as people get a little discombobulated about which way to can. If you find yourself on the inside edge then you need to cant them inwards.

top service. CEM and Andi know their stuff. ended up with a 3 degree prescription shim in each boot. Andi also told me how to check my toe/heel height difference on the bindings and offered to send me over some toe piece risers if i need them. Many thanks Guys. Very Happy Very Happy

It's who, not what, Jazzy - are you familair with the poetry of Philip Larkin? He has some comments on ones parents contribution to genetic sporting abilirty, sadly not suitable for publication on a family website.
