When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Funny you should say that.... I'm going to Jasper next weekend. I completely forgot why you just don't go to Canada in January, and I've been watching the weather with horror. Highs of -17???? Am I going to die of hypothermia? I saw another thread, someone buying up all the warm stuff he could find. I was so cold in Winter Park a couple of years ago I was ski-ing in three jackets and three hats. Couldn hardly move, but kept my fingers.
Anyone know what it's really like there? Got any tips?

good news , bc/ab are expecting a monster storm from weds onwards with (whistler expecting 30cm on tues and 50cm on wed and thats on the coast) so looking good for the interior, im going on the 16th
