Poster: A snowHead
|
There's a pair of Head Monster i.M 72 in 156cm (the shortest size they come in) en route to our house.
Unfortunately, there was no option of testing them in advance so they were ordered based on reviews and recommendations. Yes, dumb, but a done deal (and the price was soooo tempting).
Will a small (162cm, 57kg = 5'4", 127#) male "lower intermediate" (planning to take lessons to improve) be able to handle skis of this length on southern Ontario groomed slopes?
Or did we make a terrible mistake?
Thank you!

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Yep. You'll be fine.
Something turnier, from the C series or the IXRC series might have been a better choice, but nothing wrong with what you have, and there's a ready used-ski market for skis in this length.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Lenthg is fine. And the ski is right for the condition you'll likely see.
It's the skier that might need some work to manage it, though.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
