Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi
I have skied for 23 years and usually ski about 3 weeks/ year . I love carving around and ski quite quickly . I like powder but very rarely get it in my allotteed holidays . I currently have a head cyber something or other from about 7 years ago . Would a new ski make much difference to my skiing?
I quite fancy something fatter but the lack of powder over the years makes me think its pointless and Ive always been fine in powder on any ski reallly.SO what would you recommend bearing in mind that I still like to get both legs working in my carves and dont really ski bumps. However I do like getting airborn and will occasionally hit the odd spine or two

Hire some new mid fat twin-tips for a day and see how you get on. The new Scott Punishers are reasonable in price and getting rave reviews. They're wide enough for powder and should help when you're getting airborne and attempting some spins!

torico,

I think there are a few deals on here for Stockli Stormriders XL..they are worth a look and will take a foray in deeper snow... especially if you don't struggle there
