 Poster: A snowHead

I found this Karbon jacket in my size in TK Maxx a couple of weeks ago and bought it. I think its a terrific jacket, good quality feel, fits well etc etc. Ive not come across Karbon before. Does anyone have any experience/views? Also, does anyone know of anywhere in the UK that stocks Karbon gear?

Cobra.., Karbon have a good reputation, Canadian company supplying race teams & ski schools. Gear looks a bit like Spyder stuff. TK Maxx will probably be selling their sample stock, you've probably got a bargain.

Decent quality stuff imo, tends to be noticeably warmer than Euro-brands. Very much the racerboy/ski instructor look instead of the freerider/freestyle look. They also market ski poles and things, I wasn't too impressed with those.

They dont have any market exposure in the UK other than via TK Maxx by the looks of things. Shame cos it feels like a quality bit of kit.
Maybe I should apply for a distributorship!

And we got one of the kids jackets for our 11 year old, excellent bit of kit, although on the website the colour scheme was listed in the girls section, hope it won't cause him problems...  Very cheap from T K Maxx.
I have seen them on Canadian instructors.
