Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Oakley Wisdom - old design/new design - KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

Out with the old...In with the New.

Over time, great designs get improved upon. Last year, Oakley introduced a new and improved goggle strap end for the Wisdom snow goggle (bottom of picture). The new strap end is made of a soft rubber material that pivots up/down and flexes in/out to maintain a great fit on any helmet size and face shape. The strap end also makes it easy to get the goggle on/off quickly and comfortably. Most importantly, the soft rubber strap end is safer. Upon a hard fall or impact, goggles can get ripped off of the face. If this happens, the soft rubber strap ends simply flex as the goggles come off.

The original (old design) strap-end was made of a hard plastic that could only pivot up/down (top of picture). Upon a hard fall or impact, the hard plastic strap end could potentially cause additional injury to the face or eyes by scratching as the goggles come off. In addition, the hard plastic strap end would not flex upon a hard impact, which would make it more prone to breaking.

Oakley began the phase-in of the new and improved goggles last year. The old goggles are still available for the following reasons:

1: Old stock and slow-moving color combinations from Oakley that were made prior to the new design. These may be the old design, but they will come in the new Wisdom snow goggle box, which is clear with "Oakley" text randomly printed all the way around the middle of the box. For obvious reasons, Oakley is not going to throw away the old design goggles...they will just sell them until they are gone. Out with the old...In with the new.
