Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Michael B, then Wengen probably isn't the place for you. Although you need to bear in mind that the trains are the lifts up the hill rather than to get to the lifts!

You can ski Mannlichen/KS without ever hitting a train, other then going into the village at the beginning of your holiday...

Majority of the hotels you can throw a rock from the balcony and hit the cable car... what is the problem?

Michael B, you don't spend lots of time on trains, also it's worth bearing in mind that those trains mean that the typical run is up to 7km long and it's even possible to do a 13 km run from the Schilhorn to Lauterbrunnen if the snow is good

Looks like the snow will stop by tomorrow lunchtime and then it should be cold and probably bright for the next week or so

Michael B, I think if you went, you would soon change your mind - to my mind the trains and slow pace of both resorts added a certain charm, that you just don't find anywhere else. We stayed in Murren, and to be honest, you only would want to do 1 or 2 days away from the resort to visit Wengen and/or Grindlewald. Keep it on your list. snowHead
