Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Head Supershape binding mount - which predrilled holes?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I've got my new Head supershape magnum skis and can't wait to get out on the piste (1st trip in January).

When I saw the bindings being mounted I noticed that there were 2 sets of pre drilled holes for each boot length marked on the base plate. What difference does this make?
The toe and heel pieces look pretty much equal distance from the ends of the base plate, but I don't know which set of pre-drilled holes it is currently using.

Is it ok to undo the bindings and look? It isn't like the old days when I used to drill holes with a Jig and glue the screws in.

thanks
Sam.

sam_underhill, welcome to the mad house.

I'm not at all familiar with the Head / Tyrollia interface so I will add nothing except to say that I'm sure it will be fine to undo the bindings to have a look. I would use the same screws in the original holes when re-mounting and don't over tighten. Oh and make sure you use the right screw head...
