Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

good resort to progress at.A bit bleak, roadside village, high mountain pass, but we enjoyed it as a family on our second trip.

nayfe, Not a particularly pretty place but when we were there the snow was good and the weather was gorgeous which always leaves good memories. Nice wide open slopes with not much in the way of tree cover good for improving intermediates. The Glacier has a couple of black runs which I can't comment on 'cos I don't do blacks but there are loads of nice reds. The ski school was the real gem of the place in my opinion, we had a party of very mixed abilities, 8 ot us all in different classes with different teachers and we ALL loved ski school. The local people were friendly, our hotel was good and everything seemed reasonably close to the lifts. I really enjoyed it.

Hi nayfe, there's some good info @: http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=24735

An opinionated summary Toofy Grin

The Good:
- Lots of easy sunny cruises at Tonale
- Lovely run to Pontedilegno and great slopes over there
- Free bus to Folgarida/Marilleva/Madonna di Campiglio
- Cheap accomodation, all walking distance from the slopes
- very cheap, quality ski hire
- cheap prices on mountain and in resort.
- No lift queues Monday to Friday.

The Bad:
- Main Tonale slopes are straight up and down & parallel to each other.
- You won't get your camera out much
- No on piste challenges for good intermediates

By the way if you haven't tracked it down the main resort website is http://www.adamelloski.com
