When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Men’s FIS Audi World Cup Downhill results from Lake Louise, Canada

Jan Hudec (Canada) won the men’s FIS Audi World Cup Downhill race on home turf yesterday, at Lake Louise in Canada. This means he is the 2007 Bombardier Winterstart Downhill champion. Hudec finished in a time of one minute 42.79 seconds, winning by 0.24 seconds over American Marco Sullivan (Squaw Valley, CA) with Austrian Andreas Buder in third. It was the first visit to a World Cup ski racing podium for both Hudec and Sullivan....Top three times:
1. Jan Hudec (Canada) 1:42.79
2. Marco Sullivan (US) 1:43.03
3. Andreas Buder (Austria) 1:43.13
