Rossfra8, Why not try the Adidas Yodai with Prescription inserts. Or Scott make some decent Goggles to wear over Glasses.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Go to TK Maxx - Horrible shopping experience but ideal for tight wads! They currently have some Bloc & Sinner OTG goggles in store.

Spyderman, is it fairly easy to get the prescription fo rthem made up? For the bit of the UK with the most snow we must have the shittest stores for anything snow related!!

Rossfra8, My Father-in-law got some, it was dead easy, He just told them His prescription and they just ordered them in. The Lens just clip inside them, really simple, so if you decide to go the Contact Lens route, you can just unclip the Lens and wear them like normal Goggles, plus they're not huge on your face like most OTG Goggles.

Fair point. I take that back - Even "Tight wads" don't deserve the TK Maxx shoppinng experience.
Or did you mean buying Bloc or Sinner goglges?!

Block or Sinner-can't look past oakleys as far as goggles are concerned!! However unless your over the pond oakley prescription goggles are difficult to stumble across!

you can fax your pescription to oakley/usa and have the goggles made up. some opticians in the uk will assist with this. i had oakley pescription sunglasses done this way. not cheap but very fast service/turnaround time

I've got the Adidas Yodai with prescription inserts and they work really well - really superb vision and rarely fog up, unless you keep them on when walking into a restaurant

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Get him to get cheapo daily contacts for skiing in - then wear any goggles he wants. No fogging, no scraping powder of your glasses after a face plant - less likely to fall off your face when you are pissed in the bar/disco later.
