Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Who says there are no ski movies ...

DG seems to have missed some real skiing classics in his recent ski movie thread, can't think why.

There's "Out Cold" (otherwise known as Animal House on Ice) ... lauded by the Arizona Daily Star, no less, as being a hilarious roller-coaster laugh fest, and featuring music by Eve and the Foo Fighters ...

Or the classic "Ski School 2" (The slopes are sizzling again) ...

And "Winter Break" (Better than warm apple pie) ... starring Milo Ventimiglia ...

I nearly forgot "Hot Dog, the Movie" (Caution, dangerous curves ahead), and "Aspen Extreme" (Top Gun on the ski slopes! - Seattle Times). No doubt there was a "Ski School 1" before no. 2 came out, there definitely is a "Ski Patrol", and last but not least, "Downhill Willy" sounds unmissable.

Never again will anyone be able to suggest that there aren't enough ski movies.

There's been one on ski recently called exstreme ops supposed to be a thriiler based in a ski resort. Its about a production company trying to film an advert in front of an avalanche, they get mixed up with some soldiers from Serbia or Croatia not sure which. Some good footage of snowboarders being towed from the back of a train. As well as some other footage storys a bit weak though.

How about xXx with Vin Diesel where he out-raced an avalanche on his snowboard? Cool Laughing

What about (I think) "Downhill" which starred Jean-Claude Killy doing the ski-ing. I don't remember much about the story, but it definitely had one, and great ski-ing of course.
Hot Dog is great, but my favourite (and it can almost be classed as a movie) is "Blizzard of AAhhs". Very Happy Cool Cool

I (and should I really admit this) own a copy of Ski School 1 - lots of fluro suits and very little else really except for some very bad dialogue and some very naf ski shots!
