Google translate is very useful for the message. but keep it simple

I think mine took a while too, and as geri says, the strike might have caused complications. I'd be very wary of such an important message using Google translation. If you can't get someone to check it in French (snowheads has plenty of French speakers) then I'd personally send it in English.

brock, Mine took about 10 days. I phoned them, fortunately spoke to someone in English to confirm it had been sent. You do have to sign for it this end.

Mine took about 10 days but had to be signed for - had to go to the PO depot to do so as wasn't present when they tried to deliver - could that be relevant to you brock?

Ordered from APRR on Sunday 4th November & it arrived in the post today (8th Nov). Despite the red Royal Mail label stating "Signature Required", the postman just stuck it through the letter box as we were out!

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

The best thing to do with Goole translate is to make sure you translate it back from French into English to check it. If you can get the message English-French-English and retain the sense then you're pretty safe.

Arrived today after two phone calls. The first after three weeks when I was told to wait a month but they would check my address and after a call on monday 5 weeks after I applied , it arrived today fri with an acompanying letter saying they would cancel the old one to avoid fraud but if it did turn up would I please return it to them. The Moral of the story is dont order things when there is a postal strike.
