Off to Verbier on the 19th January.
My 1st time in Verbier and in Switzerland for skiing.
Can anyone give me any do's and don'ts as regards the resort?
Re ski hire,pubs,restraunts etc.
Also can you spend Euros are must you get Swiss Francs?

You need Swiss Francs.
A great resort with lots of good off-piste - most of it far from the pistes.
Use Forum Search at the top of the page and you'll find loads on Verbier.

I didn`t think there were any virgins in Verbier. You learn something surprising everyday!

Check out bands. There seems quite a lot of live entertainment for a ski resort; and the one I saw last year was better than expected.

Although many credit card machines in shops allow you to select to pay in Euros and Pounds.

has anyone stayed at the bunker?
i was thinking of staying there for a week as im on a budget!
does it have cooking facilities?

theliveroom, Yes, if you use the search function at the top of the screen you'll find a number of reports. It's cheap, I stayed there for a week and got a t-shirt as an award for my perserverance. It can be noisy and smelly. There's no cooking there thank god otherwise it would be known as the crematorium. You can get god cheap food upstairs in the sports centre bar.
