Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Boot shop in Tignes

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I'm going on the Atomic boot camp from 14th November, with a view to getting some new boots. As Atomic are kindly putting on the whole show at such a reasonable price I'll definately be trying out their boots, but if/when I decide to buy can anybody recommend a good boot shop in Tignes?

MarkS, Iused Nevada, top stuff - it's not exactly busy there yet though so not everywhere will be open.

Worth reading on from this post as well, remember to go over onto the folowing page

Still at least we know from Jonpim's post where that rumour came from!

MarkS, There is a a good boot fitter in Tignes who i think goes by the name of JoJo! LargeZooKeeper i think knows more! If this is the same guy that helped me out 5 years ago when I had blisters due to my flat feet then I can vouch as although my boots and insole are fairly cheap, i haven't had any discomfort since.

The shop i went to was at the highest shopping area in Val Claret and had a skeletal model of a foot and loads of diagrams about foot arching and pressure parts in the window?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

It looks like Nevada is the place to go if the Atomic boots don't suit then. Thanks

If you want good boot fitting in Tignes you need to go to Nevada Sport at the top end of Rue de la Poste in Tignes Lac. They do nothing but boots and fitting.

Alpine Logic, ..... rings bells ..... Toofy Grin

...... does your name rhyme with peoples from Warsaw?

Nevada is the place in Tignes - he may not be in the frame for Monseuir Charisma 2007, but boots are his business.

Not sure if it just Franck that is there now and I don't think they do touring/hybrid boots.
