Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sainte Foy Ski School/Instructors

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

We have booked to go to Sainte foy in Easter Hols (March 22-29th) and are a very mixed group.
We have a 4yr old who can do a vague snowplough turn but only if he is concentrating, 2 seven year old girls who have never skied.
a couple of complete novices, a couple of early intermediates and 1 good on piste skier who would like to do some off piste and and 3 advanced skiers who are good all round and want to pop over to La Thiule for some heli skiing.

Anyone got any reccomedations for ski schools/and or instructors for any of these types?

Thanks
Denise

fizz, ... Welcome to snowheads .... Very Happy

Send a PM to skihog, In my view he is one of the best instructors in France, far too modest and a great laugh. He is Scottish, but then no one is perfect ..... Toofy Grin He is moving to Ste. Foy, from Portes de Soleil this season. He may very well have bookings, but try anyway.

Also, if skihog, is booked, try Laurent Camus . He is also a great instructor and guide and great with children. Try not to book Laurent for more than a day though, because I like to ski a lot with him in March ... Toofy Grin

Both of these cater for all the levels that you describe. I ski a good bit of off-piste in the Tarentaise - maybe we can meet up for a day-out.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
