Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Husband and son (14) have just phoned home from Tignes.......they left U.K. yesterday evening and an 8 seater Mercedes taxi for just the two of them awaited at Geneva. They booked in to the hotel late last night, had a great breakfast this a.m with fellow guests and very friendly staff, chose their equipment, were driven to the slopes, had a good days skiing and then were collected at about 3.30 and taken back to the hotel for tea and cake! At the moment they are relaxing in the bar in anticipation of a very nice 3 course evening meal with more guests due to arrive later on.
3 days of this including the lift pass for £99.00 - they're still pinching themselves to make sure they aren't dreaming!!

Hi Linds - yes they've tried the tub too!!

Spyderman - yeah can't help but think I drew the short straw!! still not long till the 15th Dec when the female contingent will be let loose on the slopes!

loatie, Not managing to go this autumn, but did a £99 end of season break there last April - hospitality/friendliness was certainly excellent! If Caroline's working there again (lovely lady, middle-aged, wore a lemon all-in-one ski suit) get them to say hi to her from Heather, Liz, Judith & Hilda!
