2 questions about Premiere classe:
1) I know the Formule 1 hotels aren't ensuite - are the premiere classe ones?
2) If we use one we'll be arriving late & leaving early (i.e. when there's no-one on the reception desk) - does the automatic payment system work OK with UK credit cards & does it work OK if you've pre-booked?

blizt, I've used the one at Troyes a couple of times. Yes they are ensuite and have a bunkbed arrangement with a double at the bottom and a single above. I've not used their auto machine but the ones in Hotel B&B work OK for pre-booked reservations with a UK cc. Would think they all do.

actually u may well find that F1 are not ensuite........pillows crap 2, best too spend the xtra 5/8 euros abd stay in an Etap with ensuite in your room. I have used them all and these r the best value

Every Premiere Classe we've stayed in has been en-suite. Far more convenient for the 2am loo dash than F1.

all the premier class we have stayed in have been far superior to f1. quick tip if you use the autumatic check in take someone with you to the machine to write the access code down befor the light goes off!

brock, the code was always printed on the receipt for me.
We stay in the Loon Plage PC quite frequently because it is within spitting distance of the Dunkirque ferry but generally prefer Villages Hotels because they have 4 people rooms and a gated car park

Come to think of it F1 is probably one of the very few large hotel chain that has no ensuite.
