Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Haven't got a problem with any of those rises, and i think Ch is very good value ski-wise these days which is why I'll be going back for about the 4th year in a row.

Where is Verbier.... ? always thought that was expensive, but since I'll need a day pass or two, I am pretty pleased about that

You can get 220km in certain inbetween valleys for CHF 46 wink That's only £18.75. Stonking value compared to £28 for a day on Cairngorm Shocked

Since I want to drop off the back of Mont fort down to the dam, I am assuming I have to get the 4V's as the Mont Fort CC is part of that..?

Bought annual 4V passes early...saved 12.5%
Family pass gives a decent discount on normal price too.
Amortised over projected number of skiing days works out at £11.31 per day per person.
Can't complain about that!

JT, ssshhhhh !

Yes, you need 4Vs for Mont Fort. Suggest you get in touch with ise about St L ? From looking about in summer there looks like there might be some interesting stuff from the top of the Illhorn. There's a tow to near the summit.

FWIW, we will be basing ourselves all along the valley. Plan to do Verbier by the backdoor for the Dam and then a heli trip and hike up to the Refuge hut in Arolla and maybe look at GstB...

Bug about the CC needing the 4V..but still not bad value.

Aiming to get to resort X on the 21st for a week maybe... Laughing Laughing :lo:
