Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

ROSSIGNOL DRAGON Junior SKIS

Advice please ,
I am just about to purchase a pair of rossignol dragon jr skis, last years ex rental from edge to edge for one of my kids who has 3 weeks experience, 80%parrallel,10%snow plough,10%straght line out of control,if you know what I mean.

Has anyone used them?Does anyone know this skis profile /dimensions please.
My only worry is that they are a wishy washy complete beginner ski,and that maybe I would be better going for one of the junior race skis?
Anyway edge to edge seem to have some good deals on second hand ex rental skis and have a money back guarantee and 1year warranty and free postage so snowHead have a look.
I figure I could get two trips out of them and ebay them next season and still get my money back(looking at what kids skis fetch at the moment).

Can't comment on the ski but I brought a pair of ex rentals from them for use on the dry slope. The service was good although if they had only been used for the 5/6 weeks they claimed they had had a hard life but they did me for a year paid £99 for them then sold on for £75.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

hedley, I bought them for my son and sent them back. I know they were ex rental but they were really scratched with a few deep scratches on the soles and I wasn't happy with the bindings.

Feel I'm not being totally fair. If you can service the skis yourself they would be a really good buy but I don't have that kind of expertise. I would have had to get a full service and get the bindings checked which would have cost another thirty quid, so I was as well getting new ones for £99.
