Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can anyone recommend me some salapettes around £100

Does anyone recommend any trousers, my budgets about £100.but will stretch out if its worth it. Been looking at the trespass ones, pretty cheap,seen them for around £40,does anyone recommend these.

Just looking for the basics really, vents,ankle gaiters,fleece lined and seemed stitched

jim4571, I'm about to stick a brand new pair of Nike ACG Gore-tex All Mountain Ski Pants on to ebay (RRP £135), Size Large but will fit a waist size of 34" - 38". Let me know if you're interested and you can save me the listing. These would stuff Trespass any day of the week and I'd be asking a lot less than £100 but a bit more that £40 for them.

jim4571, they're called Nike ACG Relaxed All Mountain GTX Pants. 'Relaxed' meaning loose or baggy fit. They're brand new with the tags still attached and they're a Chocolate Brown colour. The waist is a standard two popper buttons and they have an internal velcro adjustable waistband with belt-loops if you need a belt.

thanks, when you say loose,how loose do you mean? Do you have pics wahwah, if they were black i would buy them right now,not to sure on brown though.

jim4571, it's a bit of a piece of string kind of question. Most ski pants are a slim fit because old-skool skiers want to be more streamlined and go faster. These are 'relaxed' to allow freedom of movement. I've no pics at the moment as most normal people are in bed at this time on a school night and not chatting on a sport-specific website wink.
