Poster: A snowHead

Afternoon snowheads
I have managed to find some good flights into Geneva for Christmas week landing early Sat22nd and flying out late on the 31st
Anyway I want to do a week in a resort and was after a bit of advise? My criteria is:
Easy to get to, preferable some type of ski bus to resort from Geneva as I don't want to hire a car (just myself and my G/F)
I have skied France for the last 7-8 trips so I want to stay in Switzerland
we are both red run skiers and mostly on-piste
I was thinking of Zermatt, Verbier, anyone with any other suggestions??
If anyone can recommend any decent self-catering accommodation, for 2 people (feel free to pimp me)
Cheers for any help

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

ajbaldwin, possibly Wengen, however wherever you go in Switzerland you may want to go by train, very handy from Geneva and you can get anywhere in Switzerland and back with a transfer ticket that costs about £55 from the Swiss Travel Center

ajbaldwin, Hi - have heard good reports of this accommodation http://www.zermattvacations.com/apartments/apartments.php although no personal experience
Would also back the comments about the train from Geneva aiport. Absolute doddle - very reliable, clean, fast trains - just what you'd expect in Switzerland

ajbaldwin,
All Swiss resorts you should be able to get to by a combination of train and post bus at a reasonable price but for some the travelling time may be a bit long.
All resorts mentioned sound pretty good. I think Zermatt is great. If you are finding prices high we found Nendaz significantly cheaper for accommodation than Verbier and it serves much the same skiing.
