anywhere in the Osians region really, Le Grave a bit further out, even Serre Chevalier. Spent a very snowy march at AdH in 2006

You could also jump one valley further north, there are some very pleasant spots in the Maurienne valley.

Ray Zorro, I would question the j2ski transfer time though, unless you have a driver and a V8 engine, and no snow on the roads, and do not get stuck behind a bus etc. I recall it takes about 30 minutes to get to Grenoble train station by bus from Grenoble airport

martyngb, There are a number of small resorts near Grenoble, off the beaten TO track too - Les 7 Laux, Chamrousse, Alpe du Grande Serre spring to mind. None of them are as far as either ADH or LDA.
